I have a problem with my printer.

I have a Canon (don't know the model) color printer. However, my Macbook doesn't support it. I was wondering if I need to purchase a different printer. The Canon printer is my only color printer. No one else I know in my area has a color printer, and I really need to print something out in color.

I'm taking it that you mean to say you have a colour LASER printer, since colour INKJET printers are as common as weird-looking people on a public bus.

This Canon printer probably has its model number and other info printed on it somewhere. Without that information, we really can't be of any help to you. We'd also like to know what sort of MacBook you have, what OS you're running on it and so forth.

My printer just needed a software update, so nevermind.
