Hi all,

I was wondering if someone would clarify the difference between iMovie and iDVD for me? Am I correct in thinking that you edit all your video and what not in iMovie, and then export it to iDVD to burn? Or not?

Just a little confused about why there are the two applications?

Thanks.

you are correct. Imovie is to make movies, Idvd, is to make the actual dvd. In idvd, you can make menus, add slideshows, and import movies from imovie, to make the dvd.
