I seem to have a big problem.
I have 4 accounts on my mac, but the main one I sign into wont fully boot up..
It gets the icons up but then stops on a blue screen and nothing responds.

I have done the safe boot method a few times but it is frozen on the same screen and I cannot work from that either. Also done the cmd apple p r way and still nothing.

Everything I have is in that account, can anybody help

Can you run me thru it, like a 6 yr old?

Ie: the disk utility or the time machine back up, from a different account. Thanks

Still on Snow Leopard? Boot from the DVD and run Repair Disk from Utilities in the Menu Bar.

I have reinstalled snow leopard, run disk repairs etc, and still no luck.

I have time machine on an external hd but the problem is that my account won't open.

Does anyone know any solutions or is this buggered and what do I do next. I have 80gb of pictures on my account,

Did you run Repair Disk and format prior to reinstalling?

I didn't to start with but then I did. But I think I've made a cock up now as I am restoring from the DVD/disk utility / restore from time machine. It has wiped everything and I take it it is now restoring from time machine. Will this work or have I buggered it?
