iTunes username and password

I couple of years ago I set up an iTunes account for my parents so they could download music to their ipods (the music was burned from CD's, not music purchased from iTunes).

I have finally convinced them to purchase iPhones (a serious upgrade from their current "flip" phones). Unfortunately, my dad cannot remember the username and password for his iTunes account! As a result, we will not be able to set up their new phones.

How can I go about trying to retrieve this information? Unfortunately, they live 1000 miles away, so I am trying to go about this over the phone with them!

Thanks in advance!

Yep, if they've never purchased anything from iTunes on the old one, it won't matter.

I probably would use the deauthorize iTunes option if you can - not sure that requires putting in an ID and password or not.
