apps on itunes

hello, i´ve downloaded an app into itunes but i can´t play it. how is it done ? do they play on itunes ?? Thank you

Which app did you download? If you downloaded the app from the iTunes store it's an iOS application and can only be played on your iPhone or iPad. Attach your iPhone or iPad to your Mac and open iTunes. You can then sync the app to your iPhone or iPad.
