I finally installed Snow Leopard recently. Now I can't play videos in iPhoto, but can play them if I go to File>Open File in Quicktime. Found an instruction on the Apple Support page to do "optional install" of Quicktime 7. Did so to no avail. What gives? Also opened iPhoto bunch of times holding down command & option keys to prompt thumbnail redoodle whacking. No luck.:Shouting: Help!

Hi,

Is your version of iPhoto up to date..try software updater? Also run 'Repair Disk Permissions on the HDD in Disk Utility and then reboot.

If you still can't get into the iPhoto Rebuild check that you are holding down the right keys (cmd + alt)....just in case;D and keep them held down for as long as you can.

If still not then back up your iPhoto Library and reinstall iPhoto from your original disks Mac OS X 10.6: Reinstalling applications that came with your computer
