Sound cards etc.

Hey, new to the forums here, I just got a new Power Mac G5 Dual 2ghz. I was wondering if I could upgrade the sound card and what, if any, sound cards will work for it. I was also wondering what I need to get to connect my guitar to the computer so as to record stuff and whatnot. This would be really helpful, t hanks in advance to anyone who responds.

I think the G5s have the sound built into the motherboard, but I could be wrong. Soundcards are not a big item in the Mac world to be honest.

well its a soundcard/analog mixer/fire-wire multi-track mixer, But I have one in my studio, and its is simple amazing...... This is what I have:Helix Board 18 FireWire
