Macbook Pro won't turn on or charge.

I was just generally using my Macbook earlier today and it suddenly turned off. Thinking it was flat, I plugged in the charger and nothing happened, not even the small green LED light on the charging connector would light up.

Is there any ways to resolve this issue? If there is, it would be greatly appreciated if you share it with me.
