I know how to use a multimeter. I know for sure that the power supply is 100% ok. But you can only check capacitors for short circuit on board, you cannot test for leaky capacitors on board.
I think I am going to have a go at changing the capacitors on board since many of you are talking about them and though I am not seeing any signs of bulged capacitors or shorted ones.
Will try to make some time to replace some of the capacitors.
