Rackmount G5

I am getting my new G5 flightcased to go out with me when I VJ, I was just wondering if anyone knew for sure, that you can run you G5 lying on its side. I assume you can, as you can with a G4, but just want to check.

I watched a video on the Virginia Tech G5 cluster but can't recall if the 1,100 G5s were mounted upright or on their side.
