I am thinking about getting a mac mini in my home studio, rather than a high end pc or mac pro. This is due to space being limited. I want to use it with dual monitors but am concerned it might not be able to handle both monitors.

the monitors are dell u3011 they have a resolution of 2560 x 1600 resolution.

it would be the latest gen mac mini with an i7 and 16 gigs of ram. they have the Intel HD Graphics 4000 chip in them.

how well do you think it will handle these I have the latest gen macbook pro 13 and find this abit slow compared to other PC's I have guess its partly due to a bloated OS tho

Hi and welcome,
I believe that the HD4000 will support up to 3 independent displays according to the specs however it may only support one at 2560 x 1600 (Display Port) with the other two limited to 1920x1200.

I just want to run 2 monitors but both at 2560 x 1600

All the research and reviews I've seen so far indicate that you are limited to one at 2560x1600. It's nothing to do with the Mac.
