Mnt Lion

Just installed Mnt Lion on I-mac. Made sure Time Machine had recently done bu/.
Once done:
1. Do not see all my Documents in Finder
2. Entourage had to be completely reconfigured and pull in from a back up
3. Not sure what else- most setting have been deleted...

Strange- I would have thought this should have been simple...

Any idea where my Documents went?
Looked at Time Machine and do not see files there either, including a 2nd Time Machine on another HD.

What option did you select when you did the install? If you chose Clean Install, that's why your documents are missing. Get them from your backup.

didn't select an option.

And, I didn't see me Documents in the external drive files..

10.6 and newer all default to OS installation only - they don't erase your applications or your files.

Not sure what happened in your case. Where exactly were your files before?

on the MAC HD drive.
