Hello! Sorry if this has been answered a million times! Right now, I'm currently charging my Macbook to 100% and then using up the battery power. I'm finding that after less than 2 months of having this computer my battery cycle is already at 70.

So I was wondering, I know it's bad to keep your battery charged at 100 for too long at a time, but how long is too long?

Thanks!

Who says? I keep all our notebooks attached to power whenever we're sitting next to power.
We use them on battery when we're not sitting next to power.
I recommend you do the same and calibrate the battery once a month.

How to calibrate:
Run on battery power until your computer shuts down.
Leave it sit like that for 4-6 hours afterward.
Then plug it back in and recharge to 100%.

In other words - Use it till it dies right before you go to bed once a month and plug it back in when you get up the next morning.
