Obtained this old emac and very happy with it but as it's several years old decided to download Stellar Defrag Software programme to view disc. Result indicates the files etc as pretty well dispersed.
Tried to run Defrag prog but keep getting error message --Partition Check failed--seems to have volume errors, try to repair.
Running OSX 10.4.11
Entered Utilities and tried to repair disc but all seems OK---
Does anybody think its the Defrag Software which is giving false info ?
I am not an expert on Computers but can generally find my way around.
