iPAD Mini file sharing with Windows: App?

gang I'm still a noob with the Mini - I think there are a lot of ways to file-share with windows 7/8 etc etc but would like you to guide me on the best ways. is there an app or something that can just let me mount my windows 7 as a file server to the Mini?

Teamviewer also has a way to get to files on remote systems running teamviewer

Depends on what you want to do - I'd recommend looking at cloud services
