Mail - Cannot Save Alias

I'm trying to create an "alias e-mail" via iCloud. However, I keep receiving the message "CANNOT SAVE ALIAS - THE ALIAS CANNOT BE SAVED AT THIS TIME".

I have an iCloud account ending in ".me" and another ending in ".icloud". Those are the only two iCloud mail accounts I have.

Does anyone know why I'm unable to create an alias? I've searched the forum, but I couldn't find any threads that dealt with this issue.

Does anyone have any answers concerning this?

It has been an ongoing issue for several months now. I have not seen any fix for it besides to continue to try and eventually it works. Apparently there is still some migration of accounts going on.

You can only have 3 aliases - so if you're there, you can't create another.

I still have the five brought with me from mac.com.

Thank you. I'll keep trying and see what happens. I didn't know it was an ongoing issue; I thought I was doing something wrong.

One other thing - you are creating @icloud.com aliases?

Yes, that's the only option it allows.

There are a few threads at Apple's forums about this.

Didn't see anything other than waiting for another day in any of them.

I appreciate it. I think I'll just cross my fingers and wait a few days and try again.
