Hi,

First off I'm new to camcorders and editing/importing movies.

I just bought the new Drift HD Ghost 1080p and have a 2008 macbook pro with imovie. I filmed about 20 minutes just to try the camera and play around with the editing. Once I plug the camera in I can see and watch my movie albeit it is kinda choppy and slow but every-time I try and import it I get an error message but with no details so I have no idea what is wrong. It wont even import a single picture taken with the camera.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

PPC Mini, 10.4.11. Intel Mini, 10.6.8. MacBook Pro, 10.14.6. M1 MBA 11.6.3 iPhone 5 iOS 12.5,
Looking at the Tech Specs:
1080p [1920x1080] - 25, 30 fps
960p [1280x960] - 25, 30, 48, 50 fps
720p [1280x720] - 25, 30, 50, 60 fps
WVGA [848x480] - 25, 30, 50, 60, 100, 120
File format: .Mp4 / .Mov (H.264 codec, selectable)

I would record at either 25 or 30 fps, using .mov format, with the h.264 option off if you intend to import to iMovie. Then it should work.
