Hi guys,

So I'm buying this smartphone Samsung Ace for my mother for Christmas. The Ace 1, not the new model by the way.
But I was wondering if there's a good way to sync it and connect it to a Mac?
I read things about a program called Kies, but the reviews are vague and some state that it does work but others state that it doesn't. Any suggestions or ideas?
Did anyone ever use Kies and knows what it can and what it can't?
Or maybe someone knows other programs which work better?

Help would be much appreciated, and have a nice day!
Lily :)

PS: I wasn't quite sure where this thread would fit, but feel free to comment and give me advice for writing this into another section.

Samsung Kies does work but sometimes takes a long time to connect to the phone.
Its not the best piece of software but it does the job.
You also need it for firmware updates.

Thank you! I don't need it to be the best, as long as I can update the phone and back up the contacts.
Anyway, have a nice day!
