I recently bought an Airport Extreme and want to access a hard drive plugged into it remotely using Back to My Mac.
I have set up Back to My Mac on the Airport Extreme using my Apple ID and followed all instruction available.
My issue is the modem! The AE is in 'Bridge Mode' and is providing the wireless network in my home (I have switched off the wireless function on my modem).
I have spent days trying to get it working with various port forwarding settings etc etc but can't seem to make the hard drive appear as a 'shared' device unless connected to my home network. The modem is a NetComm NB5Plus4W, can anyone help?
