Hi,

At home I use a powered usb hub in order to connect some powered usb devices. but also the same usb hub is connected to my macbook pro.

Since the usb powered hub is connected also to my mac, can the mac be damaged somehow?

Thanking you in advance

???

Have never heard of a computer being "damaged" by connecting a USB hub to one - powered or not.

Not willing to say it can't happen - pretty much anything is possible with electronics.

A good quality powered USB hub should be safe to use with your MBP. Some cheaper hubs have been known to cause problems. Any overdraw of current will cause your MBP to shut down the USB ports for safety reasons.
