What integrated Facebook app that runs within OS X are you referring to? Did you download a third party application to access Facebook and accidentally delete it?

OK, I'm unfamiliar with that. Sorry for the confusion. If it was really deleted, (not just removed from the Doc) then you may be able to reinstall from your recovery partition. But that might mean reinstalling the entire OS.

Are you referring to the widget that enables posting from different apps?

There is no Facebook "app" as a part of Mountain Lion. There is Facebook "integration" within some apps.

You can sign into and sign out of Facebook in System Preferences - Mail, Contacts & Calendars and set up your preferences.

Are you logged in to your Facebook account in Settings? If so, you should be able to post from the Notification Center. However, I don't think your Facebook feed natively shows up in the Notification Center, if that's what you're talking about. There are some third party apps that will display that info in Notification Center, if that's what you want. Hope this helps! ~ John
