I'm running Warcraft 3 in bootcamp mode - I love the abilty to use Win7 for games on a Mac.
A way to assign units in the game to a certain group when in native windows is to select the group with the mouse and then hold down Control on the keyboard plus a number. That number is then assigned to the unit, making it easier to call upon in the game.
For example, I'd select a group of soldiers by left-clicking and dragging a window around them. Then they're selected. I'd then press Ctrl+1 to assign them to group 1. Then when I press 1 in future, all those guys are automatically selected. But when playing via Bootcamp, Ctrl+"number" doesn't do anything. Neither does Command+"number".
Does anybody know what keypress would be the same as Ctrl in Windows-based Real Time Strategy games played in Bootcamp on the Mac? This Ctrl+number is used in a lot of them.
Thanks for your time
