iMac-21.5"(2017):OS Catalina 10.15.2 IOS13.3 iPhone 8+ iPadpro v2
Son-in-law surprised me with early Christmas gift: 2 eight GB memory cards for my iMac. I currently have 4 two GB cards installed. Questions: which 2 slots do I use for the new cards? Can I also add 2 of the two GB cards to bring total memory to 20GB or do all cards need to be same size?

It really shouldn't matter witch two slots you swap out. And as long as your iMac can handle that much memory you can keep 2 of the 2gig in it.
