help, lombard will not start up

Have a g3 lombard 333hz, took multiple tries and ram configurations to install osx on new travelstar drive. In the process of in/out card swap etc... I must have shorted something. Now it will not start at all, no led, no sound, nothing, tried charged battery, ac etc.... any idea where to start on diagnosing? which part to replace?

I had the same problem on my imac we took it in an they replaced the CRT(the screen) that some times is it it wasnt it turn out to be a fried mother board.
