I am going to get a MacBook for high school. I am not sure which model to get. I will be doing videos on iMovie, storing pictures, creating word documents, and surfing the web (YouTube, Facebook, etc.) I plan to take design courses in high school and university. I LOVE THE DESIGN OF THE MBA!

Should I get the Air or Pro?
11" or 13"?
4 or 8 GB of RAM?
64, 128, or 256 GB of storage?

I am somewhat leaning towards the Air. I am willing to spend 12 or 13 hundred on it. What should I buy? Thanks

Your Mac's Specs
MBP 2.3 Ghz 4GB RAM 860 GB SSD, iMac 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 32GB RAM, Fusion Drive 1TB
Pro if you are doing design and movies. For the ram and storage space the more the better.

I concur.
13" with 8gb RAM and then what ever you can afford in the SSD range, but definitely MBP.

Remember your not buying 1 because "You love the design" your buying for functionality and future proofing

+1 to above advice. MB Pro, 8GB RAM, and as much HDD or SSD as you can afford but that may be upgraded later if you find you went to small.
