Can you play 3D Blu rays on a Mac?

Hi,

Ive just bought a 3D external drive for my mac and just wondering if the mac has the ability to play 3D? Does anyone know of any software? Any help would be awesome!

Installing Windows along with either PowerDVD or TotalMedia Theater would do the trick.

So ive installed powerdvd and total media theatre and cant get either to work? powerdvd 12 says it cant run on a virtual machine and totalmedia only acknowledges a drive D: and cant see by blu ray drive which is Y:. i go to my computer and the drive is visible? cant understand why both arent working?
Anyone any ideas? cos I'm confused!!!

I've not tried either one of those in a virtual machine.

Doesn't your display need to be 3D capable? I don't believe any of the Macs have 3D support - unless of course, you're using an external, 3rd party display...
