I'm trying to get a job at a graphic design company that uses OS9 and an early version of Illustrator. Is there anyway to get around the "can't boot into OS9" list that Apple displays here? I have a 15" Powerbook with the FireWire 800.
I really don't like Classic, in the fact that you're never *truly* in OS9. You never see a desktop, the menu bar only appears if an app is open, etc. etc.
Does anyone know of a way around this? …or will I have to buy a G3?
