Hi, all,

My MacBook pro as suddenly stopped recognizing my Brother HL 3040CN printer which is connected via an ethernet cable to my wireless router. When I try to troubleshoot on the Mac it says "cannot connect to the device." The Macbook has no problem getting on the wireless network, so that's not the problem. I'm pretty sure everything is still set up the way it had been, although I did move recently so maving something has changed. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

You probably need to rerun setup in the Brother by moving you will have a different IP and if the Brother was not set up as Auto DHCP then it still has old IP.

I never ran setup on the Brother. Thanks but I don't think that's it, since my PC recognizes the Brother's ip address, and I haven't changed that.
