Yesterday, I was browsing facebook and attempted to click on a video, but the sound didn't play. Turned volume all the way up - my speakers were fine. Tried Youtube and those videos also didn't play sound. Restarted the computer and everything works perfectly again.
However today, the problem arose again and having to restart my browser every other time I open it will drive me to insanity.
I'm thinking it is the result of an incompatibility between Chrome and my OS... But then again, I don't know diddly.
Does anyone know the reason for this problem? And more importantly, a permanent fix? Thanks!
