Hi, I hope I'm posting this in the right area.

So I just got my hard drive and a few other things replaced after a S.M.A.R.T. Failure,
I was in the process of wiping my mac when it happened.

So I take my laptop home and they've installed Lion and iLife etc and I started downloading a few apps, when trying to install MAMP it asks for my password, I presumed it would be the one I had before but it isn't working and neither is the usual "password" etc, and I can't change it.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Mark

Try a blank password

Once you get in, you should head for System Preferences - Users and Groups - and set up your own password and Apple ID.
