iPhoto import from iPhone

I have an old iPhone. I upgraded the operating system yesterday. I have a ton of pictures on the phone that I'd like to import into iPhoto. When I plug in the phone, iPhoto is not "seeing" any photos on the phone. ANy ideas why?

Not sure about your issue, but moved your post to it's own thread. Posting to a totally unrelated thread is not likely to get you much help.

Where are the photos? You can only import what is in the Camera Roll; ie, pictures taken with your iPhone.

I have about 1,000 pictures in the camera roll. When I plug in the iPhone, iPhoto comes up for the phone, but with zero photos.

Oh wait, I lied, for some reason, they are no longer in camera roll, they are in "photo library", but all were taken with the phone. Odd?

Have they not already been synced to iPhoto, deleted form the camera roll, and then synced back to your iPhone? That's how they would appear in Photo Library.

They were synced to IPhoto on another iMac. Long story, but I moved and now have a new mac. They can't be synced again?

Something from here may help. I've not had a need to do it so can't make a recommendation.
