Connecting a PC to an iPad Mini?

Supposing you can't transfer via the cloud but need a hardwire connection.

What kind of connector do you need to transfer photos from a PC to an iPad Mini?
Would it be the same connector to transfer from a smartphone (not iPhone) to an iPad Mini?
And how about from a digital camera to an iPad Mini?

For a digital camera to an iPad, I would imagine that a Lighting version of the Camera Connector Kit would work.

To transfer photos from a computer to an iPad mini, you would use the included USB to Lightning sync cable of course.

From one smartphone to an iPad mini, you're going to have to use the cloud -- there's no other way I know of to easily do that.
