Yet another issue with my macbook. My macbook stopped responding and then when i restarted got grey screen. Put install disk in snow leopard. Just deleted hard drive wiped everything clean. partitioned it.(160 gb hard drive) 1gb ram I go install and it hangs at 31 minutes install time. It freezes there and doesn't move even though the mouse moves and everything. please help me!!!! thanks. i read similar issues to this.

It sounds like you have a bad hard drive. Boot the machine with your Snow Leopard disk and use Disk Utility from the SL disk to do a verify and repair on the hard drive. Let us know the results.
