I have a 13 MacBook (Circa 2006) with a dual core processor, and 2 GB of RAM. It is currently running snow leopard (OS X 10.6.8). The processor is within the range of requirements to run lion, but I was curious if doing so would be slow, as the max RAM is the minimum needed to run lion. Anyone else had success running lion on a similiar machine?

Thanks

Your Mac's Specs
Mac Book Pro '15' i7 Quad Core, iPhone 5, iPod (U2), time capsule (2tb), apple tv.
I upgraded to Lion using my old black Macbook with a dual core processor chip. I had to update the RAM to 2GB before I could even install the new software but once I had it seemed to run pretty much ok.

I have since bought a new macbook pro but still I was quite happy with the performance of my old Mac-book on Lion.
