My Mac Mini (10.5.8) refuses to start. It remains stuck on the startup screen including the grey background, the apple logo and the spinning wheel.
Someone on this forum advised me to attempt trying to repair the disk by connecting this Mac Mini to another Mac computer.
So I decided to connect my Mac Mini (the target computer) to my iMac (10.4.11) but it doesn't show up on the host computer.
The screen of my Mac mini does show the Firewire logo, bouncing on the grey screen.
But I doesn't show up on the host computer desktop, nor in the disk utility program.
Neither after restarting the host computer.
What the **** do I have to do?
