I have read other posts and I could not find one with my problem.

So heres the deal, spilt pop on my closed MacBook Pro 13''. I immediately picked it up soaked up all of the spil disconnected mag safe and everything was fine I plugged in the mag safe and the battery kept at 99% all night.

I unplugged it for use today and when i re-attached the mag safe it now says not charging.

But my battery will stay at the same charge I had it at when I plugged it in. It was at 75% and it still is at 75%

Any ideas before I shell out another $100 for a new magsafe?

Also, I have checked the pins look fine and there is no residue that I can see with the naked eye.

A new MagSafe Adapter might not solve the problem. If any liquid seeped on down to your logic board it may have shorted or damaged circuitry. Please read our "Spills" Sticky thread at the top of this forum for more information and what others have done and been advised.

Logic boards are about $750. Suggest you not spill any liquids on MacBooks.
