Lexmark 6100 series printer

I have a Mc Book Pro and want to connect it to my Lexmark 6100 series all in one printer
which is about 4 years old and I currently use this printer on my Sony laptop.The disk that
came with the printer has drivers only for PC machines.I have looked at the Lexmark site
but it don't have Mac drives for this model.Can anyone help me please as I am in Colombia
and it is difficult to get specalist help here.Thanks,Sean

Lexmark printer drivers are difficult to find. If the Lexmark site does not have a driver for your Mac, you may be out of luck. I'll look around a bit and see what I can come up for you.

EDIT: I just checked the Gutenprint driver section to see if your Lexmark was supported, unfortunately it is not. I think the best thing for you to do is either only use the printer in Windows or buy a compatible printer to use with your Mac.

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Sean, take a tip from one who battled Lexmark allegedly IT experts for years ~ they have not bothered with Mac drivers since Jaguar OS X.2 days. Cut your losses, save time and invest in an Epson, Brother or Canon after checking ML compatibility.
