I am wondering is there software for video editing? What is good easy software package.
I have a Mac book (OSX, version10.6.8)

You should look into iMovie. Should have been included with your purchase. It is pretty easy to start using out of the box, and includes some decently powerful tools if you dig into it far enough.

If you want something more powerful, Final Cut Pro X is the latest version of Apple's industry standard video editing software.
