Hi

Could anyone please tell me how to make Word for Mac open in "Page Width" by default? It is annoying to go to zoom and select this option each time. I did a quick search on this site, but did find any answers.

Thanks

Actually, there is a way to do this but it requires a bit of editing. You need to open a copy of your "Normal Template" (normal.dotm), select the "Page Width" feature from "Zoom" and save it. Close the normal template and exit Word.

Now open Word again. The new normal template will automatically open any new document with Page Width selected. This only works on new documents, all your old documents will still have to be manually changed from the zoom menu.

I agree. There are several nice features missing from Office for Mac that are in the Office for Windows version. We should see some nice improvements in Mac Office 2013. (Whenever MS decides to release it.)
