External DVD Burner

The CD/DVD drive in my iMac has failed and I'm looking for an alternate. I guess a USB CD/DVD drive/burner is the obvious choice. Can you suggest a good one? The one in my iMac is not repairable and a new drive is cost prohibitive.

G'day and welcome to the forums.

For what it is worth got a cheap Samsung USB for my new iMac to save the internal. Either a mains powered or a hub with two USB ports for powering will do the job nicely.
