Safari Headliner bar change/delete

On the headliner bar that runs across the screen when using Safari there are categories such as Amazon ebay Yahooo etc but the last one which in my case is my bank has a nonfunctioning address. How do I delete or change this item? I have tried just deleting it to no avail.

If what you're referring to is the "Bookmarks Bar", it should just be a matter of right-clicking the offending item and clicking "Delete". Otherwise, I'd need to see a screen shot of what you're trying to correct.

Thanks for the info. I believe it is the bookmark bar but I click the right portion of my Macbook pro laptops pad and then delete and its still there. I thought it had something to do with the history but still cannot get it to delete or at least change the address to the correct one.

Absolutely. Simply drag the favicon to the bookmark bar (the icon outlined in red below):
