Hey everyone,
I have a LaCie Porsche Design 1Tb 7200 RPM external Hard drive that has been working fine for about three months and now all of a sudden won't show up in Finder or Disk Utility.

It does, however, appear, in "system information" as "p'9220 Mobile Drive" under the "USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Bus on my Macbook Pro Retina running OSX 10.7.5.

Any suggestions on how to mount this external drive or make it appear? It has really important video information and no this video footage is not backed up anywhere else, I hadn't even had time to transfer it before my hard drive crashed.

Any help/suggestions are much appreciated!

I assume you've done the basics like reboot your MacBook and unplugged/powered off that drive itself to restart it?

Best suggestion at the moment is to try a different USB cable.
