Problems syncing icalendars on two imacs running Lion

I'm trying to configure two Imacs that are running Lion to sync the calendar information via Icloud. I'm using the same icloud account on both imacs. the issue is syncs only travel in one direction. when I make a change on imac1, it shows change on imac2, but when i make a change on imac2, it doesn't show on one. I logged into the cloud, and its updated on the cloud, but doesn't make it back to imac1. any thoughts or suggestions??

Are they both using the same default calendar? or is one saving into a second, unshared calendar?

What can you see if you log into iCloud.com?

I believe there both using the same calendar. I'm going back to the site today to check for sure, and I'll post any changes
