To configure an Open Directory Master I need to have a static IP. Is a reserved IP address from the router OK?

Currently the router gets a static IP address and serves DHCP. It feeds a couple of smart GB switches which then feed all the computers which are a mix of Macs, PC and Linux boxes. I want a Mini to be the Open Directory server, although it looks like I need to run the Snow Lepoard server to be able to include the PC's.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Reserved IP works. Or you can set the DHCP range to be something like 50-254 and use 2-49 as static IP addresses. You, however, will have to manage the static IP list yourself. So going with the reserved IP addresses gets you that advantage..

Thank you Ashwin. I like the reserved IP addresses as they allow me to make sure all my devices always have the same IP.
