Can I purchase outright version of Mac Lion or Mountain lion and load it on to the system directly

let me share with you the system config

processor Intel core 2 duo - 2.4 Ghz
Memory 1 gb @ 800 Mhz DDR2 SD Ram

else for my better understanding can i download from aps store and do it pls revert

You would have to purchase Snow Leopard first in order to get the app store, then Lion. You will not be able to run Mountain Lion unfortunately.

Ah, I thought only Mountain Lion needed that.
