Removing Backgrounds from Pictures

Hi, I'm making a poster with Pages for a high school project, and I was wondering if somebody could take the photos from the links below and make the backgrounds transparent. I could do it myself but I'm not very good at it and I want it to look precisely done. I would really appreciate it!;P

What kind of school project is this for?

It's a High School Applying projet. I had to make a hsort film along ith it. Can you help?

No and you should be doing your own work for school. If it's an assignment (I have no idea what an "applying project" is), do it yourself. If it's for a club or non-academic school project, get someone in that club to help out.

I'd have to agree with Van here. Part of the reason we are in school is to "learn". Why is it that so many people I meet are afraid to do any leg work when it comes to things they'll have to do on a daily basis?

It's so easy... All you have to do is ask Google how to do what you need to do, and the answers shall become apparent. If it's a matter of needing to purchase software to do this, ask your parents. I'm sure they'll help if you legitimately need the software for a project, especially if you'll be continuing down the road of graphics work.

And if not, then perhaps you picked the wrong project to do. A little forward thinking goes a long way.
