Recently my internet search results have started coming back in Russian. If I recall correctly I seem to remember reading while back about a java exploit affecting Macs? This is just a guess though.
Anybody have an idea of what could be going on?

Does this happen with all search results or just one search engine in particular? Does it only happen with search results or do other pages think you're located in Russia? If you're not sure, see what this page has to say about your location.

Did you check to see what the geolocation page I linked to listed?

It may also be worth noting what OS X has set for your DNS servers. In System Preferences > Network > select your network adapter > Advanced > DNS, what does it have listed for your DNS servers?

Try changing those DNS servers to the following:

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

I added them to the search domains and while the results returned aren't ALL Russian or the first results aren't Russian there are still Russian results. That helped, thanks.

You need to replace the current list of DNS servers with the ones that I provided. Although I'm not sure this will solve the problem, it might.

There's a difference between exclusively Russian results and a set of results that include Russian ones. I've done searches before that return non-English results - it all depends on what you're searching for.

It's possible that Google is set to include Russian results. Go to Google > click your user profile in the top right hand corner > Account > click the search settings link at the bottom of the page > Languages > make sure only English (and any other languages you might want) are checked under what languages you want included in the search results.
