I've signed out, (I had nothing in the Game Center to begin with, so Friends, etc is empty) and the darn Game Center pops up constantly asking me to sign back in. How to permanently disable this annoying app? Running iOS6 on iPad2.

1. First, to remove people from your Friends list, you can tap on their profiles and choose the Unfriend option.

2. Second, to deactivate your public profile, remove the email addresses, or change your nickname, you can go to Me > Account > View Account. Then here you can do the following:

- Disable your Public Profile.

- Remove Email from Account: this option will delete all emails from your email list.

- Choose another Nickname.

- Sign out of Game Center on all iOS devices.

IDK if this is the solution but maybe you missed one of these steps.

I agree with the sentiment. I have never signed into Game Center (and never intend to). If there were a way to trash the APP I would and am definitely tired of having to hit cancel every time I want to play Where's My Water.

Guess none of the games I play are tied into it, because I've never had it pop up. But there are sure a lot of frustrated folks out there over this.

Sur3Mac - Thanks, that did help. Now I only get 1 pop-up instead of several every time I open a game. Glad to hear I'm not the only one that hates this app!
