Am I just dumb or what? For the life of me I cannot figure out how to view Safari in full screen. I use FireFox and view in full screen. My wife uses Safari and wants me to "fix" it for her so she can view in full screen. Someone please enlighten me on how to do it. Thanks:(

Sounds like you don't have an appropriate version of OS X. If you don't have 10.7 or 10.8, you can't get full screen support. However, if you do, the arrows should be visible in the top right hand corner. What version of OS X are you using?

As Darth Vader correctly points out - it should be here - assuming you're 10.7 or higher - your specs show that you're still running 10.6

Upgraded to 10.8.2 last night. You are exactly correct. I now have the arrows in the upper right corner but when I go to full screen I lose the red, yellow and green buttons on the upper left side to quit or reduce to dock. Where do they go? I have to reduce the size of the screen to see them. Still dumb I guess.

That's how full screen works - it takes up the entire screen. You can't have both. Either you get true full screen or you get a "maximized" window (taking up the visible space).
