Thanks for taking a look at my problem. I've searched for this problem using google and the search function here at mac forums, but I none of the suggestion solutions work for me.
I'm trying to install Starcraft 1 on my macbook pro, which has snow leopard installed (10.6.8).
The game installs just fine, but will not boot up when I click the icon. The Starcraft icon bounces on the dock a few times than quickly closes.
I've tried patching to the lastest version released from Blizzard, (1.16) but that does not work. For some reason, after I'm done patching and click on the Starcraft icon, the system terminal boots up and says it cannot load executable (I don't remember the exact error message).
I do realize there are threads about this problem, but I wanted to know if anyone had a more up to date solution.
